The towel question; It comes up a lot and we would like to explain our philosophy:
Each guest gets one set of clean towels at the onset of the stay; One bath towel, one face towel and one washcloth.
We rent you our or someone else's home. The apartment is not a hotel and as such we do not have staff that can change towels or bring fresh ones at any given moment. Remember also, that we are in NYC and that the cheapest hourly rate is $15 (and you would not want that person to handle your towels). In other words by the time we bring you a fresh set of towels, it is more economical if you pick up a new set at Bed, Bath & Beyond around the corner.
We want you to have the NY apartment experience and actually try to live like someone who lives in the apartment. Here's what we do: we go to the nearest laundromat and drop off our laundry in the morning (in your case it would be before going sight seeing or to that NY meeting) and then pick it up when we return. Most of our apartments also have laundry facilities in the basement and you can just launder them yourself, as often as you wish!
Our cleaning lady will be happy to do an extra cleaning while you are staying with us. That includes a towel change and fresh sheets. Upon reservation you will receive her phone number. She charges $95 for a studio and $125 to clean a 1BR.
